As the most westerly point on the Island, Cape Anguille Lighthouse has been a pivotal landmark for ensuring mariners safety.  The original was built in 1905 in response to a tragic ocean disaster, and another was built in 1960 to replace its predecessor.  The Cape Anguille Mountains provide a fantastic background to a spectacular view of the coastline and the ocean.
